Who is STAR for?
Individual academics in sub-Saharan Africa who want to get access to cutting edge research in a wide variety of subject areas.
What is the purpose of STAR?
Taylor & Francis Group hopes that STAR will help to strengthen research on the continent by enabling African researchers to gain access to scientific and academic publications more easily. STAR aims to:
- facilitate engagement with debates in the worldwide research community
- enable researchers to enrich findings and to update references
- contribute towards higher levels of article acceptance in international journals
- support efforts to apply research to the African context.
