New Titles in 2018

Taylor & Francis convert seven journals to open access

We're proud to be driving the growth in open access (OA) publishing by providing the academic community with high quality OA journals in which to publish their research. In January 2017 we converted a number of our leading titles to become fully OA and authors have since benefitted from greater reach and discoverability when publishing in these journals.

To continue this development, Taylor & Francis will be expanding its list of fully open access titles across the Biological, Earth and Environmental Science subject areas in 2018. We will be converting seven of our journals to OA, bringing our number of fully OA titles to over 165.

The below list of journals will be converting as of 2018, whilst a full list of our existing OA journals can be found here.

Vicki Donald, Editorial Director, Biological Earth and Environmental Sciences, comments "Open access is a significant and rapidly growing aspect of the research communication landscape as researchers and funders seek the widest possible impact for their work. Our programme of conversions will give authors a greater choice of open access journals in which to publish, and we are confident that the move will attract even more high quality scientific research and readers to the journals."
