This latest issue of T&F's Librarians' Newsletter gives you a brief overview of the latest developments at T&F, along with news of some of the support we have in place to help librarians and, in turn, to allow you to help the researchers with whom you work.
For Librarians:
Lan Murdock, Library Marketing Coordinator, has put together a guide to some of the ways in which you can promote your library's resources. Our short overview provides you with marketing tools that you can use in your daily work that do not eat into the precious time you have available.
In our article New Journal Metrics Make an Impact, Jo Cross our Market Research Manager, has put together an overview on how some of the newer usage metrics on offer are calculated and also gives you some pointers on how you can interpret these.
Those of you involved in digital preservation will be interested to read about the work T&F is currently doing with CLOCKSS in an article penned by Amy Kohrmann of CLOCKSS.
For the Researchers that you work with the newsletter also includes a guide to a T&F author's rights throughout the publication process, which are based on NISO standards. We also have a look at some of the more interesting things authors can do with the multi-media tools we have available on informaworld.
I hope you enjoy this newsletter. We would especially like to thank Jim Cole, editor of The Serials Librarian, for his contribution in the form of an entertaining interview.
With best wishes,
Jennifer McMillan
