Taylor & Francis Librarian Resources - Online Journal Archives
Printer friendly page

Taylor & Francis Group has embarked on a project to digitise its backfile collections back to Volume 1 Issue 1 by key subject area.

Journals falling under the company's 3 imprints; Taylor & Francis, Routledge and Psychology Press, will be digitised and released over the coming months. This will allow your library to strengthen its collections of scholarly information available to your researchers, whilst saving valuable shelf space and costs.

Flexible pricing options are available to suit every budget. Should your library wish to purchase by annual subscription, but want the security of perpetual access to the content, once the spend on the archive reaches 125% of the outright purchase cost for that year, your library will automatically have purchased the collection for a one-time fee and only the maintenance fee will be due.

Please follow the links below for details on our archive collections. For further information on these archives, please contact your local sales office.

Protecting the Online Archive
Taylor & Francis Group acknowledges that the long term preservation of its electronic content is of critical importance and that it has a significant role to play to ensure its content is available and accessible over time. Taylor & Francis Group has an archival strategy in place that provides for the deposit of its electronic source files into an acceptable non-profit third party archive, including Portico and LOCKSS, so that our content will be actively preserved and available in the event it is no longer offered by Taylor & Francis Group or a successor. We are also participants in the CLOCKSS pilot project. In addition, an agreement with the Dutch National Library has been signed to protect the future of our Online Archive.

Missing Archive Content
Taylor & Francis Group undertake to make every reasonable effort to digitise our Online Journal Archive. There may be instances, however, where the archive is incomplete due to inability to locate journals.

Journals which are marked as 'in production' have been located, are currently being digitised and will be available to your library soon. For those which are marked as 'missing', we are currently unable to locate the print issues, and will endeavour to continue in our search.
