Aims & Scope

The recent and projected growth of the polymer industry throughout the world emphasizes the need for the presentation and understanding of reliable polymer property information which can help the designer, fabricator and consumer in optimizing the choice and use of polymers, particularly as engineering materials.

The International Journal of Polymeric Materials meets this need. It also is a journal of record and provides a forum on new and old materials. Emphasis is placed on the understanding of mechanisms and the interaction of engineering properties with chemical structure, morphology, processing papers relating to fibres, composites and elastomers included. The journal is interdisciplinary in nature and contributions are made by chemists, physicists, engineers and designers.
