Aims & Scope
The Journal of Educational Administration and History is a distinctive fully peer-refereed international journal that brings together researchers, policy makers and practitioners. For over four decades, the Journal has offered authoritative accounts of the history of the administration of education, and authors repeatedly demonstrate the necessity and value of historical research and thinking. The Journal publishes papers that contribute to and historicise debates on educational administration, leadership, management and policy in a range of settings. Work that is comparative and socially critical and which address issues such as power, authority, ideals, principles, diversity and difference is welcome. The Journal has special responsibility to publish work that is interdisciplinary and draws on economics, philosophy, politics and sociology. The Journal of Educational Administration and History encourages papers from a range of conceptual, theoretical, and/or methodological positions.
