Aims & Scope
The Institute of Scientific Information Journal Citations Report for 2005 ranks Society & Natural Resources 13th out of 94 journals in Sociology (social science), 29th out of 38 journals in Planning & Development (social science), and 10th out of 51 journals in Environmental Studies (social science), with an Impact Factor of 1.339.
Bringing together social science research on present and emerging environmental and natural resource issues, Society and Natural Resources provides a forum for scientific, refereed research that underlies management decisions on natural resource development from multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary social science perspectives.
The knowledge base focuses on natural resource management issues, including biological and physical changes, such as: acid rain; biological and genetic diversity in worldwide agriculture; hazardous and solid waste disposal; and forest, fishery, soil, and water degradation.
Peer Review Policy:
All articles in this journal have undergone editorial screening and double-blind peer review by three reviewers.
