Community College Journal of Research and Practice Guest Editors:
Deborah Floyd, Michael Hrabak (Florida Atlantic University), and Angela M. Garcia Falconetti, (Daytona State College) View the table of Contents The focus of this special issue of the Community College Journal of Research and Practice is to describe the emerging trend of the community college baccalaureates (CCBs) through the presentation of theories, models, and predictions about the future of the CCB. In an effort to contribute to the development of policy and practice, the researchers describe key policy issues and research challenges. While not the sole state presented, Florida's CCB model serves as the focal point of this special issue. Florida emphasizes the growth and impact of baccalaureate-degree granting community colleges as the leading U.S. provider of CCBs.
