Globalizations
Special Issue on Globalization and Crisis

Globalizations

Editor: Barry K Gills, Newcastle University, UK
Volume 7, Issue 1+2, February/ March 2010

Globalizations publishes work which explores new meanings of globalization, brings fresh ideas to the concept, broadens its scope and contributes to shaping debates of the future.

This forthcoming special issue of Globalizations will consist of a set of analyses, provided by leading international scholars in the field, of the relationship, both theoretical and practical, between 'globalization', as the contributors interpret this concept, and 'crisis', both historically and in the present context, i.e. the most severe global systemic crisis for a century. The articles are intended to provide substantial analytical critique, and contribute to the development of new understandings of globalization.
