Technical Education & Training Abstracts is a continuation of Technical Education Abstracts which was first published in 1961. It is designed to serve the information needs of those teaching mathematics, science and design and technology at primary, secondary and higher education levels. It specialises also in vocational, further and continuing education, particularly education and training for industry, commerce and the professions. It provides abstracts of some 600 journal articles, books and reports each year in four quarterly issues. Each provides a concise, non-evaluative summary of the item and gives full bibliographical details. Regular scanning of the abstracts, aided by the provision of author and subject indexes in each issue, will enable the reader to keep up-to-date with new techniques and developments, not only within the subjects outlined, but in areas which have a bearing on them such as learning theory, instructional technology, government policy and legislation. Annual and cumulative author and subject indexes are bound in the final issue of each volume for the purpose of retrospective retrieval.Technical Education & Training Abstracts
