EDITORIAL BOARD
Psychoanalytic Studies is a refereed journal which is devoted to the academic, scholarly discussion of all aspects of psychoanalysis, its history and its institutions and the application of psychoanalytic theory to a wide range of disciplines, such as: history, cultural studies, film, literature, drama, critical theory, anthropology, art, feminism, gender studies, biography and autobiography, personality psychology, dynamic psychiatry, social science, philosophy, methodology - anything which includes a psychoanalytic (or, broadly speaking, psychodynamic) dimension.
The journal is:
- academic: not clinical, although academic, historical and conceptual aspects of the clinic are included.
- interdisciplinary: it embraces the wide range of topics mentioned in the above description.
- international: refers to subscribers to the journal and board membership, and to an interest in geographical aspects of psychoanalysis.
- pluralistic: meaning that it is anticipated that all schools of psychoanalytic and psychodynamic thought will be represented, as well as constructive criticism.
