The Journal of Geography in Higher Education (JGH) was founded upon the conviction that the importance of teaching and learning has been consistently undervalued in higher education. Devoted to geography teaching in all institutions of higher education throughout the world, it provides a forum for geographers and others, regardless of their specialisms, to discuss common educational interests, to present the results of educational research, and to advocate new ideas. All submitted articles are peer reviewed. A complete set of the contents and article abstracts for Journal of Geography in Higher Education, since it was first published in 1977, is available on the Geography Discipline Network pages at Cheltenham and Gloucester College of Higher Education. The index is searchable by author, year of publication and volume number. Journal of Geography in Higher Education is also available in electronic form over the Internet using RealPage software.
