The Journal of Contemporary African Studies is an interdisciplinary biannual journal of research and writing in the human sciences - economics, political science, international affairs, military strategy, modern history, law, sociology, education, industrial relations, urban studies, demography, social anthropology, literature, development studies and related fields. The journal seeks to promote a scholarly understanding of developments and change in Africa. All articles are independently refereed, but the editors are responsible for the final selection of contents of the journal.
