Industry and Innovation is a leading journal of cross-disciplinary scholarship devoted to understanding the dynamics of industrial growth, change and sustainability, whether at the level of the firm, the sector, the national or the international economy. The journal was launched in 1993 as Journal of Industry Studies, and joined the Carfax group in 1997. Industry and Innovation publishes papers which blend empirical and theoretical scholarship, approaching the dynamics of industry from a variety of perspectives, including those of political economy, industrial organization, political science, industry policy, technological dynamics, strategic management and organizational behaviour. The journals aim is to enhance understanding of how successful industries are
created, nurtured and sustained, and thereby contribute to generating wealth and employment.
Industry and Innovation is currently noted in Australian Public Affairs Information Service (APAIS), International Bibliography of the Social Sciences, Journal of Economic Literature (EconLit) and Sociological Abstracts. |
