EDITORIAL BOARD AND
INTERNATIONAL CONSULTANTS

Gender and Education is a journal that aids the distribution and exchange of feminist research and ideas in the multidisciplinary, international area of education. Since it is the policy of the journal to establish a forum for discussion and debate about gender in education, articles that examine the experiences of boys and men as well as girls and women are welcome.

Education is interpreted in a broad sense to cover both formal and informal aspects, including nursery, primary and secondary education; youth cultures inside and outside schools; adult, community, further and higher education; vocational training; parental education. Though those working in all discipline areas - history, sociology, psychology, philosophy - are invited to submit manuscripts, unnecessary or mystifying jargon should be avoided. A deliberate effort should be made to use non-sexist and non-racist language.
