The European Journal of Engineering Education examines the economic, cultural, and social factors which influence the education of engineers in different societies and provides a forum in which teachers in engineering schools, institutions and industry can share accounts of good practice and discuss methodology.

Technological change constantly creates new demands on both engineers and the educational system that produces them. This journal contributes to the development and improvement of engineering education necessary to meet those demands. Each issue, with its specially appointed Guest Editor, concentrates on a theme which is of general value to everyone involved in engineering education and which also has particular applications within the different engineering disciplines.

The electronic mailing list EJEE aims at facilitating the exchange of views and opinions about the development of EJEE, the European Journal of Engineering Education. The list is largely and wordwidely open : SEFI' members, EJEE' readers, EJEE' potential authors, engineering professors or students, etc. Exchanges on the list will help the EJEE' Editorial Board to adapt permanently the Journal to the needs of its readers as well as to those of a large community of specialists who want to dispose of a very high standard Journal devoted to the improvment of engineering education.
