Addiction Biology publishes original research reports, rapid
communications and review articles in the various biomedical aspects of alcohol,
substance and tobacco misuse. Papers are accepted in the metabolic,
nutritional, molecular, genetic, biochemical and pharmacological fields of both
clinical and experimental research.
The journal is truly
international, with Regional offices in North America, Europe and the Western
Pacific, and is committed to interdisciplinary research and communication. Its
contents include peer reviewed original scientific research, invited
reviews, short communications, scientific letters and correspondence, book
reviews and a calendar of relevant scientific meetings and events.
Addiction Biology is a new sister journal to Addiction, the longest established (over 100
years) journal with the highest citation impact in the field of alcohol and
substance misuse.
Addiction Biology is associated with the Society for the Study
of Addiction.
