Addiction Biology publishes original research reports, rapid communications and review articles in the various biomedical aspects of alcohol, substance and tobacco misuse. Papers are accepted in the metabolic, nutritional, molecular, genetic, biochemical and pharmacological fields of both clinical and experimental research.

The journal is truly international, with Regional offices in North America, Europe and the Western Pacific, and is committed to interdisciplinary research and communication.
