Journal Details
Aims & ScopeNeuropsychological Rehabilitation publishes human experimental and clinical research related to rehabilitation, recovery of function, and brain plasticity. The journal is aimed at clinicians who wish to inform their practice in the light of the latest scientific research; at researchers in neurorehabilitation; and finally at researchers in cognitive neuroscience and related fields interested in the mechanisms of recovery and rehabilitation. Papers on neuropsychological assessment will be considered, and special topic reviews (2500-5000 words) addressing specific key questions in rehabilitation, recovery and brain plasticity will also be welcomed. The latter will enter a fast-track refereeing process. The Research Digest, edited by Jonathan J. Evans, Andrew Bateman, Gary Turner and Robin Green, is a regular feature in Neuropsychological Rehabilitation. The digest editors regularly scan a wide range of journals and other publications for material of particular interest to those working in rehabilitation. This section will be an invaluable resource providing both bibliographic references and informal comment and discussion. Browse books in Aphasia, Cognitive Neuropsychology, Neuropsychological Rehabilitation, Speech and Communication Disorders. SPECIAL ISSUES Issues devoted to a single topic are occasionally published in this journal; these are sent free to subscribers in that year, and are also available to purchase separately as books for non-subscribers.
