Instructions for AuthorsThe Journal of Elections, Public Opinion, and Parties (JEPOP) only accepts electronic submissions. Authors must send a PDF file containing the entire manuscript to the editorial offices at: either jepop@brunel.ac.uk or jepop@temple.edu. The PDF file needs to be entirely anonymous. Author-identifying information to be excluded includes the cover page information on authors, notes of appreciation to others for data or comments on the paper, statements of where the paper may have been presented at a conference, citations to the author(s) prior scholarship unless they are essential to the literature review of the paper, and any other language that could identify the author(s). In a second PDF file, the corresponding author must provide a full list of authors along with institutional affiliations and contact information. Manuscript preparation: The manuscript must be double-spaced and in 10 or 12 point font. A4 paper size is preferred though letter size also will be accepted. Margins should be at least one inch. English or American spellings are permitted. Manuscripts should be 6,000-10,000 words in length, though shorter manuscripts also may are acceptable, particularly if written in response to an article published in JEPOP. An abstract of the paper of no more than 175 words should be incorporated into the first page of the article together with six key words suitable for indexing and for purposes of on-line searches. The journal uses Harvard referencing. Citations in the text should give the author's name and the year of publication, e.g., "Tonge and Evans (2004) claim that …" or "This is in contrast with more recent results (Clarke, et al., 2004)," and all references listed should be listed in alphabetical order at the end of the manuscript.
