Instructions for AuthorsInstructions for Authors Manuscript Submission All submissions should be made via the Research in Science & Technological Education ScholarOne Manuscripts site (http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/crst). Submitting authors should first create an account by clicking on the ‘Create Account' button in the top-right corner. Manuscripts are submitted via the ‘Author Centre'. Authors should provide two versions of their paper, one containing full author(s) contact affiliations and details, and one anonymous copy to allow for blinded peer-review. Main articles should not normally exceed a maximum of 5,000 words: articles and reviews express the personal view of the authors. Manuscripts should be double spaced and should clearly indicate the title of the contribution. The full name(s) of the author(s) and their institution/organisation are to appear on the named version of the manuscript only. The full postal address of the main author is required for sending proofs, offprints and for necessary correspondence. An abstract of the article of between 100 and 200 words should be included on a separate page. Research in Science & Technological Education welcomes academic papers from authors in any part of the world. Papers should report unpublished work not elsewhere under consideration. They should be as concise as clarity permits and free from jargon. Contributors are asked to pay particular attention to the conventions of the Journal when reporting empirical research. The standard pattern of presentation for such research should embrace an introduction, stating aims and objectives of the research and a review of previous work; a statement of the sample, procedure and tests; a factual statement of the results and a discussion of their significance. Tables, figures, illustrations, etc. Tables should be typed out on separate sheets and not included in the actual text. They should be numbered in Roman numerals and figures in Arabic numerals. The approximate position of tables and figures should be indicated in the typescript. Please supply one set of artwork for figures in a finished form, suitable for reproduction. Figures will not normally be redrawn by the publisher. Style guidelines Word templates Word templates are available for this journal.
