Submission

Studying Teacher Education welcomes articles with a research focus on self-study of teaching and teacher education. Manuscripts are to be saved in Word or RTF format and submitted electronically as an attached file to:

All papers will be double blind reviewed by the journal's international review panel. Footnotes should be avoided. Final acceptance of papers for publication will be subject to required changes being made by authors.

Manuscripts

Manuscript word lengths must be strictly adhered to and may be either 6,000 or 9,000 words (including references) double-spaced. Authors must obtain permission to reproduce illustrations when necessary, and pay the relevant copyright fees and other costs. Such or any other kind of illustration, as well as Tables and Figures, should be submitted as separate files and not be included in the text of the article. Accordingly, they should be submitted in a form that is suitable for publication. The place at which a table, figure or illustration is to be inserted in the printed text should be indicated clearly on the manuscript. Captions should include keys to symbols.

Authors should include a short note of biographical details and full postal, fax and email addresses. An abstract of 250 words should also be included.

Authors are required to submit papers in the style of the journal. Articles should be clearly and concisely written, using arguments that are fully substantiated with well-reasoned analysis and clear links to the data. All acronyms should be spelled out the first time they are mentioned. Contributors are asked to take account of the international readership of Studying Teacher Education by explaining in full the use of terms that might be meaningful only to a particular local or national audience.

For all manuscripts, non-discriminatory language is mandatory. Citations of other work should be limited to those necessary for the argument. Any quotations should be accompanied by precise references.

Manuscripts submitted should be original, not under review by any other publication and not published elsewhere.

Proofs

Proofs will be sent to the authors for correction, and should be returned to the publisher within three days of receipt. Major alterations to the text at this stage will not be accepted.

Corresponding authors will receive free online access to their article through our website (www.informaworld.com) and a complimentary copy of the issue containing their article.
