Polymer Reviews
Instructions for Authors
Aims and Scope. Polymer Reviews publishes high quality reviews on topics of current interest in all areas of macromolecular science and engineering. Areas of particular interest are biomedical applications, organic electronics and photonics, nanostructures, micro- and nano-fabrication, biological molecules (DNA, proteins, carbohydrates), polymers for renewable energy and the environment, and polymers at the interfaces with other disciplines. Articles may either provide a complete, broad review of a topic, or may concentrate on the author's own work, placing that work in the context of the broader field. Most issues published by Polymer Reviews are topical issues consisting of invited papers. Approximately once a year an issue consisting of contributed articles will be published.
Submission of Manuscripts. Polymer Reviews receives all manuscript submissions electronically via their Manuscript Central website located at: http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/LMSC. Manuscript Central allows for rapid submission of original and revised manuscripts, as well as facilitating the review process and internal communication between authors, editors and reviewers via a web-based platform. For Manuscript Central technical support, you may contact them by e-mail or phone support via http://scholarone.com/services/support/. If you have any other requests please contact the journal at polyreviews@gmail.com.
The manuscript should be prepared using MS Word or WordPerfect. Each manuscript must be accompanied by a statement that it has not been published elsewhere and that it has not been submitted simultaneously for publication elsewhere. Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce copyrighted material from other sources and are required to sign an agreement for the transfer of copyright to the publisher. All accepted manuscripts, artwork, and photographs become the property of the publisher. All parts of the manuscript should be typewritten, double-spaced, with margins of at least one inch on all sides. Number manuscript pages consecutively throughout the paper. Authors should also supply a shortened version of the title suitable for the running head, not exceeding 50 character spaces. Each article should be summarized in an abstract of not more than 100 words. Avoid abbreviations, diagrams, and reference to the text. Six keywords should be provided. The names and contact information for three suggested reviewers must also be provided with the submission.
References. Please cite references in the text by number only as a superscript. At the end of the article, list the references in the order they appear in the text. Footnotes should be included in the list of references. Examples:

Book: de Gennes, P. G.; Prost, J. The Physics of Liquid Crystals; Oxford University Press: Oxford, 1993.
Book section: Rossert, J.; de Crombrugghe, B. “Type I collagen: Structure, synthesis, regulation”, In Principles of Bone Biology, 2nd Edition; Bilezikian, J. P.; Raisz, L. G.; Rodan, G. A., Eds.; Academic Press: New York, 2002; pp 189-210.
Figures. Figures (line drawings, halftones, photos, photomicrographs, etc.) should be submitted as separate digital files for the final accepted version of the manuscript. Digital files should follow these guidelines:

Tables. Tables that consist of text only may be included on separate pages as part of the text file. Any images that are to be included as part of a table (for example, chemical structures) should be submitted as separate files, following the guidelines for figures above, with a clear indication in the table as to where the figure should be inserted. A short descriptive title should appear above each table with a clear legend and any footnotes suitably identified below. All units must be included.
Proofs. Page proofs are sent to the designated author using Taylor & Francis' EProof system. They must be carefully checked and returned within 48 hours of receipt. Color proofs will be provided for art physically printing in color if author consent is received by the requested due date.
