Instructions for Authors
The Journal of Higher Education Policy and Management welcomes contributions. JHEPM prefers papers to be no longer than 5000 words. This is to maximise the number of papers that can be published. JHEPM also invites short comments, reports and book reviews. The editor is happy to discuss with authors initial ideas and to review preliminary outlines and drafts of possible contributions.
Contributors should bear in mind that they are addressing an international audience.

Style guidelines
Authors should examine a copy of the Journal to see roughly what their paper should look like. Papers (12pt Times New Roman) should be submitted as follows:
- ‘s' rather than ‘z' in words such as ‘organise'
- ‘per cent' rather than ‘%' when used in the text.
- avoid abbreviations, except for universally-known organisations or processes
- do not use numbered paragraphs
- do not use headers or footers, except page numbers
- do not provide running heads
- do not use foot notes or end notes

These four issues constitute one volume. Annual volume contents and author index are bound in the last issue of each volume.
