2) Theory-Focused Articles introduce and/or advance scientific concepts in human dimensions. Most often, these articles offer empirical support for the advancements explored. (Maximum length = 25 typed double-spaced pages)

3) Application-Focused Articles introduce: (a) new approaches to applying human dimensions in fisheries and wildlife management and policy making; (b) unique substantive findings or studies of new or previously neglected groups or topics; (c) findings of broad relevance to a critical issue which is pervasive in fisheries / wildlife disciplines; (d) new methods of research or analysis that enhance interpretation, display and use of human dimensions in fisheries and wildlife information; and (e) research that explores and enhances education in human dimensions of fisheries and wildlife. (Maximum length = 25 typed double-spaced pages)

4) Methodological Articles examine validity and reliability issues surrounding the implementation of human dimensions in fisheries and wildlife studies.
