Manuscripts. All submissions will be subject to anonymous peer review; therefore, authors are advised to put their names and contact information on cover sheets attached to each copy of their manuscripts, not on the first page of text. Contributors should note that material submitted to the journal must be original, must not have already appeared in another publication and must not be submitted for publication elsewhere while under consideration by the journal. In general, essays submitted should be between 8,000 and 12,000 words long or approximately 22 to 33 double-spaced pages typed with a Times New Roman 12-point font. Please send the manuscript as an attachment in MS Word to euroromrev@earthlink.net. One of the co-editors will acknowledge receipt and communicate with the author about the review process. Authors who are unable to e-mail may send an inquiry by post to Diane Long Hoeveler, Department of English, P.O. Box 1881, Marquette University, Milwaukee, WI 53201, USA.
One of the co-editors will contact authors about editorial decisions. The final, revised version of an accepted manuscript must adhere to the MLA style using parenthetical documentation and a list of works cited. In this version, the author's name and contact information should appear on the first page along with the title of the article and an abstract of no more than 200 words. All pages of the manuscript must be numbered. Authors of accepted manuscripts will be provided with format guidelines at the time of acceptance. Final manuscripts must be submitted in electronic form.
Tables and figures. Tables must be typed on separate sheets and not included as part of the text. The captions to illustrations should be gathered and typed on a separate sheet. Tables and figures should be numbered by Arabic numerals. The approximate position of tables and figures should be indicated in the paper. Please supply clear copies of artwork (preferably the originals) for figures in a finished format suitable for reproduction. Figures will not normally be redrawn by the publisher. The author(s) must arrange permission for the reproduction of illustrations and tables within articles. Figures may be sent electronically, preferably in either TIFF (tagged image format) or EPS (encapsulated Postscript) formats. However, we can also accept PICT or JPEG formats. The publisher will normally reproduce colour figures in black and white.

Proofs. Proofs will be available to authors through the publisher's Central Article Tracking System (CATS). Directions for using the system will be sent to authors by e-mail when proofs are ready. It is important that authors follow the directions and timetable for submitting corrections and that they refrain from making major or non-essential changes at proofs stage.
Reprints. Corresponding authors will receive free online access to their article through our website (www.informaworld.com) and a complimentary copy of the issue containing their article. Reprints of articles published in this journal can be purchased through Rightslink® when proofs are received. If you have any queries, please contact our reprints department at reprints@tandf.co.uk
Copyright. It is a condition of publication that authors assign copyright or license the publication rights in their articles, including abstracts, to Taylor & Francis. This enables us to ensure full copyright protection and to disseminate the article, and of course the Journal, to the widest possible readership in print and electronic formats as appropriate. Authors may, of course, use the article elsewhere after publication without prior permission from Taylor & Francis, provided that acknowledgement is given to the Journal as original source of publication, and that Taylor & Francis is notified so that our records show that its use is properly authorised. Authors retain a number of other rights under the Taylor & Francis rights policies documents. These policies are referred to at www.tandf.co.uk/journals/authorrights.pdf for full details. Authors are themselves responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce copyright material from other sources.
