Instructions for Authors

 Notes for Contributors

 Manuscripts.

All submissions will be subject to the normal process of peer review. Before preparing your submission, please visit the Economics of Innovation and New Technology homepage at http://www.informaworld.com/gein for full instructions for authors, including a complete style guide.

Papers for consideration should be submitted to Professor Cristiano Antonelli. Authors are encouraged to submit manuscripts electronically. Electronic submissions should be sent as email attachments using a standard program such as MSWord or LaTeX to eint@unito.it. If email submission is not possible, please send an electronic version on disc or CD-ROM along with three paper copies, together with one set of high quality figures for reproduction, to: Professor Cristiano Antonelli, Dipartimento di Economica, Via Po 53, 10124 Torino, Italy. Contributors should note that material submitted to the journal must be original, must not have already appeared in another publication and must not be submitted for publication elsewhere while under consideration by the journal.

The title of the paper and the author(s) name(s) should appear at the beginning of the paper. All papers should include an abstract summarizing the significant findings, not exceeding 150 words. This should be presented on a separate page. Abstracts should be accompanied by up to six key words or phrases that between them characterize the contents of the paper. These will be used for indexing and data retrieval purposes. All pages of the manuscript must be numbered. All manuscripts should include full correspondence details (street address, telephone, fax and email addresses) of the corresponding author. Please list the appropriate Journal of Economic Literature classification(s) for your paper.

Tables and figures.

Tables must be saved on separate pages and not included as part of the text. The captions to illustrations should be gathered and typed on a separate page. Tables should be numbered by Roman numerals and figures by Arabic numerals. The approximate position of tables and figures should be indicated in the paper. Please supply clear copies of artwork (preferably the originals) for figures in a finished format suitable for reproduction. Figures will not formally be redrawn by the publisher. The author(s) must arrange permission for the reproduction of illustrations and tables within articles. Figures may be sent electronically, preferably in either TIFF (tagged image format) or EPS (encapsulated Postscript) formats. However, we can also accept PICT or JPEG formats. The publisher will normally reproduce colour figures in black and white.
