Instructions for Authors

Further information about the journal including links to the online sample copy and contents pages can be found on the journal homepage.

Submissions
All submissions must be made online at Technology Analysis and Strategic Management Manuscript Central site.
 
After creating an account, authors must upload two versions of their manuscript:
 
1. A complete paper designated as 'File not for review'. This is  TASM's file copy and must include the authors' names, their contact details and short biographies. One author should be designated as corresponding author.
2. An anonymised paper designated as ‘Main document'. This manuscript must not contain any authors' details as it is sent to TASM's reviewers.

Both versions must be in Microsoft Word format - pdfs are not permitted.

Manuscript format

Length
TASM cannot accept manuscripts of more than 7,000 words in length. Please note that this total includes authors' details, abstract, keywords, tables, endnotes and references.
 
Layout & style
Download TASM's article- and reference-style pdfs at ‘style guidelines' below. Additionally, note that manuscripts should be written in British English and double-spaced, with 2cm margins. Do not include headers or footers. Footnotes should be avoided if possible.
 
Abstract & keywords
An abstract of 100-150 words must be included; it should explain the manuscript's purpose, methodology, findings, originality and value. There should be four or more keywords.
 
Tables, figures, drawings and photographs 
Tables and captions must be on separate pages and not included as part of the text. Tables and figures must be numbered consecutively by Arabic numerals. The approximate position of tables and figures should be indicated in the manuscript. Captions should include keys to symbols and should be grouped together.

Figures and line drawings must have a title legend and be drawn on separate pages. Figures should be supplied as camera-ready artwork in a form suitable for printing. Photographs should be sharp, high contrast, and high-resolution prints; they should be submitted in their final size

Please use UK spelling (e.g. colour, organise). Use single quotation marks with double within if needed.
This journal requires a short paragraph of bibliographical details for all contributors.

Proofs will be sent to authors, if there is sufficient time to do so. They should be corrected and returned to the publisher within three days. Major alterations or revisions cannot be accepted.

Corresponding authors will receive free online access to their article through our website (www.informaworld.com) and a complimentary copy of the issue containing their article.
