Aims & Scope
Biofouling is an international, multi-disciplinary journal providing a forum for publishing pure and applied work on microbial, plant or animal fouling and its control, as well as studies of all kinds on bioadhesion and biofilms, including biofouling of medical and dental equipment and implants.
Papers may be based on studies relating to growth on any natural or man-made surfaces in the freshwater, marine or aerial environments; fouling, bioadhesion and biofilms in the medical, dental, industrial or agricultural context.

Biofouling now offers even faster publication for its authors. With our Build Issue service, we aim to publish articles within three weeks of receiving the accepted paper*.
