A website devoted to the study of Romantic-period literature and culture.

An inter-disciplinary, peer-reviewed e-journal, with free worldwide access, Neo-Victorian Studies is dedicated to the exploration of the contemporary fascination with re-imagining the nineteenth century and its literary, artistic, and socio-political contexts in both British and international frameworks. Neo-Victorian Studies provides a strategic forum to analyse the complicated investments of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries in historical remembrance and revision of the period, publishing both scholarly and creative work on the subject.

The Eighth Lamp: Ruskin Studies Today is a double blind refereed online journal started under the aegis of The Oscholars group of journals. It is published twice a year by Rivendale Press, UK. The journal can be accessed via http://www.oscholars.com/Ruskin/index.htm. The Eighth Lamp publishes papers, book reviews, creative essays, and art works by scholars interested in the teachings of John Ruskin. It also reports research, publications, and events related to Ruskin. While the journal has a focus on Ruskin, it hopes to generate a greater understanding of his relation to fellow Victorians as well as his influence on fin-de-siècle arts and literature. The Eighth Lamp is particularly interested in showcasing interdisciplinary and new perspectives on Ruskin, and we welcome submissions related to art, religion, historiography, social criticism, tourism, economics, philosophy, science, architecture, photography, preservation, cinema, and theatre. Please email the editor Dr Anuradha Chatterjee (Sessional Academic, University of New South Wales) at architecturalhistorytheory@gmail.com to send in your entries.
