Instructions for Authors

iOpenAccess logoAims and Scope: Stochastic Analysis and Applications presents the latest innovations in the field of stochastic theory and its practical applications, as well as the full range of related approaches to analyzing systems under random excitation. In addition, it is the only publication that offers the broad, detailed coverage necessary for the interfiled and intrafield fertilization of new concepts and ideas, providing the scientific community with a unique and highly useful service.

General: Contributions should be in English. Address manuscripts to the Editor: Dr. G. S. Ladde, gladde@cas.usf.edu, Department of Mathematics and Statistics, University of South Florida, 4202 East Fowler Ave., PHY 114, Tampa, FL 33620, USA.  Contributors may alternatively choose to send manuscripts to one of the Members of the Editorial Board for the review process, and one copy of their manuscript with a copy of their cover letter to Dr. G. S. Ladde.

Authors are strongly encouraged to submit manuscripts on disk. The disk should be prepared using MS Word/Latex/PDF Files/Tex Files and should be clearly labeled with the authors' names, file name, and software program. A hardcopy printout that exactly matches the disk must be supplied.
Each manuscript must be accompanied by a statement that it has not been published elsewhere and that it has not been submitted simultaneously for publication elsewhere.

Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce copyrighted material from other sources and are required to sign an agreement for the transfer of copyright to the publisher. All accepted manuscripts, artwork, and photographs become the property of the publisher.

All parts of the manuscript should be typewritten, double-spaced, with margins of at least one inch on all sides. Number manuscript pages consecutively throughout the paper. Authors should also supply a shortened version of the title suitable for the running head, not exceeding 50 character spaces.

An abstract consisting no more that 100 words should be accompanied by up to five key words/phrases with AMS subject classifications. Avoid abbreviations, diagrams, and reference to the text in the abstract.

References. Cite each reference in the text by a number enclosed in parentheses. List the references at the end of the article in the order they appear in the text. Include footnotes in the reference list.
