Call for Papers:

The journal welcomes scholarly articles about any aspect of housing policy, systems and practice. In particular, are invited articles which:

  • highlight policy developments in national and sub-national housing systems
  • contribute to the comparative analysis of housing
  • locate housing within the wider context of European integration
  • link housing to wider economic and social changes
  • link housing to related social and economic policies, including urban regeneration

At present English-language literature on housing policy is mostly about the countries of northern Europe. This leaves some important gaps. The Editors especially pleased to receive articles about developments in southern, central and eastern Europe.

EJHP also welcomes relevant articles on housing policy outside Europe, for example which:

  • compare policies with European countries
  • link policy developments to the European context
  • are of relevance to housing policy in European countries in other ways

Articles to be considered for publication should be between 6000 and 8000 words and include an abstract of between 150 and 200 words, up to six keywords, and a bibliography. Tables and figures should each be treated as the equivalent of 225 words.
