Gordon J. G. Asmundson is the leader of a research program with primary interests in the evaluation of the determinants of health in special populations (e.g., military veterans, elderly, Alzheimer's Disease) as well as the anxiety disorders (particularly panic disorder, posttraumatic stress disorder, and social phobia), chronic pain, health anxiety, and the association of these with disability, health care utilization, and changes in cognition and behaviour.
