Instructions for Authors
African and Black Diaspora: an International Journal accepts original articles not under consideration by another publication at the time of submission. All submitted articles will undergo peer review, based on initial editor screening. Strict anonymity is accorded both authors and referees.
Tables, figures, and photographs with captions should be electronically supplied in a separate file, with a resolution of no less than 300 dpi. They can be submitted in hardcopy if clearly labelled; photographs should be high-contrast black and white glossy prints. The desired position and size of the illustration should be indicated within the manuscript (e.g. <insert figure 1, size: half page, caption>)
The content of articles should not infringe any existing copyright. If any table, figure, photograph or more than a few lines of the text from previously published work or unpublished theses are included in the manuscript the author must obtain written permission for republication from the copyright holder; the original source should be clearly referenced and acknowledged.
Reprints: Corresponding authors will receive free online access to their article through our website (www.informaworld.com) and a complimentary copy of the issue containing their article. Reprints of articles published in this journal can be purchased through Rightslink® when proofs are received or alternatively on our journals website. If you have any queries, please contact our reprints department at reprints@tandf.co.uk.
Copyright: It is a condition of publication that authors assign copyright or licence the publication rights in their articles, including abstracts, to Taylor & Francis. This enables us to ensure full copyright protection and to disseminate the article, and of course the Journal, to the widest possible readership in print and electronic formats as appropriate. Authors may, of course, use the article elsewhere after publication without prior permission from Taylor & Francis, provided that acknowledgement is given to the Journal as the original source of publication, and that Taylor & Francis is notified so that our records show that its use is properly authorised. Authors retain a number of other rights under the Taylor & Francis rights policies documents. These policies are referred to at http://www.tandf.co.uk/journals/authorrights.pdf for full details. Authors are themselves responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce copyright material from other sources.
Disclaimer: Taylor & Francis makes every effort to ensure the accuracy of all the information (the “Content”) contained in its publications. However, Taylor & Francis and its agents and licensors make no representations or warranties whatsoever as to the accuracy, completeness or suitability for any purpose of the Content and disclaim all such representations and warranties whether express or implied to the maximum extent permitted by law. Any views expressed in this publication are the views of the authors and are not the views of Taylor & Francis.
