Instructions for Authors

iOpenAccess logoAims and Scope. Journal of Liquid Chromatography & Related Technologies® publishes an outstanding selection of critical, peer-reviewed papers dealing with analytical, preparative and process-scale liquid chromatography of all types and related technologies such as TLC; capillary electrophoresis; supercritical fluid extraction and chromatography; membrane separation technology; field-flow techniques; and others. As new separation techniques are introduced, they will also be included in the journal. On a regular basis, special topical issues are devoted to specific technologies and applications. Book reviews, software reviews and a calendar of meetings, symposia and expositions are also included.

Submission of Manuscripts. Please submit three copies of your manuscripts to the Editor-In-Chief: Dr. Jack Cazes, P.O. Box 1149, Lady Lake, FL 32158-1149; E-Mail: jackcazes@embarqmail.com. Authors should submit three printed manuscripts together with a disk (3.5 in. or CD-ROM) which contains the complete manuscript. Place figures in a separate file. Disk files should be prepared using MS Word, WordPerfect, or in .rtf format, and should be clearly labeled with the authors' names and file name. Each manuscript must be accompanied by a statement that it has not been published elsewhere and that it has not been submitted simultaneously for publication elsewhere. Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce copyrighted material from other sources and are required to sign an agreement for the transfer of copyright to the publisher. All accepted manuscripts, artwork, and photographs become the property of the publisher.

All parts of the manuscript should be typewritten, double-spaced, with margins of at least one inch on all sides. Number manuscript pages consecutively throughout the paper. Start with a title, authors, addresses, and e-mail addresses. Authors should also supply a shortened version of the title suitable for the running head, not exceeding 50 character spaces. This should be followed by a short abstract; figures and references may not be used in the abstract. The abstract should be followed by Introduction, Experimental, Results and Discussion, Conclusions, References, Tables, and Figure Captions. Avoid abbreviations, diagrams, and reference to the text. Six keywords should be provided.

References should be sequentially numbered and cited in the text in numerical sequence.
