Technology Analysis & Strategic Management is an international research journal linking the analysis of science and technology with the strategic needs of policy makers and management. The journal publishes research on the analysis and assessment of technologies, their potentialities and impacts, and the development of methodological tools to identify and analyse key scientific and technological developments.
The scope extends from technological issues at the corporate and organisational level, through the intermediate levels of the firm and state/national and supranational capabilities, as far as international relations in matters of high technology and international co-operation/competition.
Manuscripts should not be more than 8,000 words in length and be written in English. All submissions should be made online at the Technology Analysis and Strategic Management Manuscript Central site. New users should first create an account. Once a user is logged onto the site submissions should be made via the Author Centre.
Authors should prepare and upload two versions of their manuscript. One should be a complete tex t including the title of the contribution and name(s) of the author(s), while in the second all document information identifying the author should be removed from files to allow them to be sent anonymously to referees. When uploading files authors will then be able to define the non-anonymous version as "File not for review".
Papers should be double spaced, with ample margins. The email address of the author who will check proofs and receive correspondence and offprints should also be included in the non-anonymous version. All pages should be numbered.
An abstract of 100-150 words should be included. Footnotes to the text should be avoided wherever this is reasonably possible.
Tables and captions must be on separate pages and not included as part of the text. Tables and figures should be numbered consecutively by Arabic numerals. The approximate position of tables and figures should be indicated in the manuscript. Captions should include keys to symbols and should be grouped together.
Figures and line drawings must have a title legend and be drawn on separate pages. Figures should be supplied as camera-ready artwork in a form suitable for printing. Photographs should be sharp, high contrast, and high resolution prints; they should be submitted in their final size.
