Instructions for Authors

***Note to Authors: please make sure your contact address information is clearly visible on the outside of all packages you are sending to Editors.***

Typescripts accepted for publication may be subject to copy-editing and editorial abridgement or other alterations as necessary, and all contributions will be peer-reviewed before acceptance for publication.

Manuscripts, ideally between 4000 and 6000 words (although brief technical and research reports will be considered) should be sent electronically to the Editors at lmteci@mmu.ac.uk. Where this is not possible, 3 copies of the article, with any illustrations, should be submitted to: The Editors c/o Trish Gladdis, Learning, Media & Technology, Institute of Education, 799 Wilmslow Road, Didsbury, Manchester, M20 2RR, UK.

All pages should be numbered. To allow anonymous refereeing, all submissions must be properly formatted for blind reviewing. Authors' names and institutions should be typed on a separate sheet and submitted with the manuscript. The full postal and email address of the author who will check proofs and receive correspondence and offprints should also be included.

Each paper should be accompanied on separate sheets by a summary of 100 to 150 words, and a short note of biographical details of each author for 'Notes on Contributors'.

Viewpoints. Articles should be no longer than 2,000 words in length. Please send all submissions to Trish Gladdis at lmteci@mmu.ac.uk clearly indicating that it is for consideration in the 'Viewpoints' section.
