Instructions for Authors
Manuscripts that do not conform to the requirements listed below will not be considered for publication and will be returned to their author(s). Three complete copies of each manuscript are required. Papers should be between 4,000 and 8,000 words maximum (including a bibliography and footnotes). Papers should be typed on one side, double spaced, with ample margins and bear the title of the contribution. Please indicate clearly the final word count for the whole of your article. All pages should be numbered.
Two covering sheets should be included with the manuscript. The first sheet should have the title of the article, the name(s) of the author(s), the full postal and email address of the corresponding author who will check proofs and receive off-prints. The second sheet should include the title of the contribution, an abstract of 100 – 150 words maximum and up to six key words.
Footnotes to the text should be avoided wherever this is reasonably possible.
Tables and captions to illustrations. Tables must be typed out on separate sheets and not included as part of the text. The captions to illustrations should be gathered together and also typed out on a separate sheet. Tables and figures should be numbered by Arabic numerals.
