Who are we?

Taylor & Francis publishes leading African and African Studies journals and is committed to disseminating and showcasing African research in the global online environment across a spectrum of subject areas, from the arts to zoology, economics to the environment, mathematics to music. Building on a strong tradition of scholarly work on Africa, Taylor & Francis operates from an editorial office in Johannesburg to support and strengthen regional academic journals in collaboration with learned societies and institutions. A key component of our African operation is to partner with regional co-publishers, namely UNISA Press and NISC, utilizing local publishing networks and expertise.

SAHARA-J partners with Taylor & Francis!
Routledge, part of the Taylor & Francis Group, and the Social Aspects of HIV/AIDS Research Alliance are pleased to announce a partnership to publish the SAHARA-J: Journal of Social Aspects of HIV/AIDS. As an open access title, SAHARA-J will form part of the T&F's open access initiative - T&F Open.

SAHARA-J publishes peer-reviewed contributions of the highest quality from researchers in South Africa, other countries in Africa, and around the world. MEDLINE-listed and JCR®-ranked, the journal disseminates vital research on social factors relating to HIV/AIDS, including care, support, behaviour change, behavioural surveillance, counselling, impact, mitigation, stigma, discrimination, prevention, treatment, adherence, culture, faith-based approaches, evidence-based intervention, health communication, structural and environmental intervention, financing, policy, media, etc. Return to T&F Africa for updates on the development of this partnership, and visit the SAHARA-J homepage.
