Aims & Scope

scrutiny2: Issues in English Studies in Southern Africa is peer-reviewed and places emphasis on theoretical and practical concerns in English studies in southern Africa, particularly tertiary education. Uniquely southern African approaches to southern African problems are sought, although topics of a more general nature will be considered. While the dominant style will be of a scholarly nature, the journal will also publish some poetry, as well as other forms of writing such as the essay, review essay, conference report and polemical position.
 
This journal is accredited with the South African Department of Education.
