Welcome to issue 9 of the Taylor & Francis Group Librarians Newsletter.
Since the last newsletter we have integrated Lawrence Erlbaum Associates with the informaworld portfolio. This newsletter contains further information about the acquisitions of Haworth Press and more recently, Multilingual Matters Ltd.
We also begin a series of articles exploring Thomson Scientifics Impact Factors. In this issue we go back to basics, looking at how Impact Factors are calculated and how they vary depending on topic area.
Our series on library spaces continues with a look at the award-winning Peckham Library in South London, which has become a community focal point with vastly increased visitor numbers.
