Welcome to the fifth issue of the Taylor & Francis Group’s Librarians’ Newsletter and also to a new and improved format.

Through the Librarians’ Newsletter we keep you up to date with new initiatives, developments, products and services from Taylor & Francis, including the exciting launch of our new online platform, informaworld™.

 

In this issue you will find the very latest information on the proposed acquisition of Lawrence Erlbaum Associates and our new co-publishing agreement with the University of South Africa Press.  We also have news of the introduction of iOpenAccess, giving authors the option to make their articles freely available to all via the journals website in 175 journals from T&F’s chemistry, mathematics and physics portfolios, one behavioural science journal from Psychology Press, and medical and bioscience journals from Informa Healthcare.

The launch of Taylor & Francis Group's new electronic publishing platform which offers enhanced searching capabilities and access to journals, eBooks and encyclopaedias from Taylor & Francis, Routledge, Psychology Press and Informa Healthcare.

 

iOpenAccess

Taylor & Francis announce the introduction of an iOpenAccess option for authors publishing in 175 journals from T&F’s chemistry, mathematics and physics portfolios, one behavioural science journal from Psychology Press, and medical and bioscience journals from Informa Healthcare.

 

Lawrence Erlbaum Associates

Taylor & Francis Group announces the proposed acquisition of LEA which publishes more than 100 journal titles and 200 new books a year under the imprints of Lawrence Erlbaum Associates and The Analytic Press.

 

UNISA

Taylor & Francis Group announce that from the 2007 subscription year it will be co-publishing with the University of South Africa (UNISA) Press, under its Routledge imprint.  See those UNISA journals that will be available to purchase in print and online format.

  

Thomson Scientific 2005 Impact Factors

Routledge, part of Taylor & Francis Group added more journals to the Social Sciences Journal Citation Reports® (JCRs®) in 2005 than any other publisher.
