International Journal of Leadership in Education
Special Issue on Disrupting Notions of Leadership from Feminist Post Colonial Positions

International Journal of Leadership in Education
Guest editor: Jill Blackmore

The International Journal of Leadership in Education is pleased to announce the publication of a special issue that takes a provocative and highly contextualized look at leadership in our post-modern, post-colonial, post-national era of global citizenship.

'Disrupting Notions of Leadership From Feminist Post Colonial Positions', a special issue edited by Jill Blackmore, investigates the significance of gender, race, religion, culture, and identity on educational leaders as they, themselves struggle with a multiplicity of loyalties in a world where distinct demarcations are rapidly disappearing.

Contributing authors include:
Nereda White - Austrailian Catholic University – Centre for Indigenous Education and Research
Saeeda Shah - University of Leicester
Nina Asher - Louisiana State University
Maenette Ah Nee-Benham - University of Hawaii
Tanya Fitzgerald - La Trobe University.
